A COVID-19 Update

June 12th, 2020 by Global Teams

Recently, we shared with you the effects the global pandemic have been having on our field partners and the people to whom they minister around the world. Although Global Teams International is not a relief agency, our hearts felt the need to respond to the pandemic related food shortage in certain locations of Central Asia, South Asia, and East Africa.

The cost of helping during this crisis has been greater for some. One of our field partners in Bangladesh decided to help bury the dead bodies that were piling up. Tragically, he contracted the COVID-19 virus, and we learned this week that he went to be with the Lord. Please pray for his family and for our GT team in that area who face harsh conditions as they serve.
