The Nubians, an ancient people group of Sub-Saharan African descent, ruled a powerful empire in the Nile Valley between the 6th and 14 Centuries A.D. While many Nubians identified as Christian prior to the spread of Islam, by the 16th Century, most had converted to Islam.
Pray that the Nubian people of South Egypt and Northern Sudan would be receptive to the gospel.
