
Walt Hanline, Ed. D.
Dr. Hanline is Executive Director at National Center for Executive Leadership and School Board Development. His work centers on serving school districts, non-profits, cities, and charter schools by working with board members and executives in the areas of team building, strategic planning, collective bargaining, CEO evaluation, and board governance.
Dr Hanline received his doctorate from the University of Southern California and served as a public school teacher, founding Superintendent/Principal of Ventura Missionary School, and as a public school superintendent in California and Oregon for 33 years.
Walt and his wife Edith reside in Lakewood, Washington and have two grown sons, David and Jason. Walt became a Christian in 1972 and has served in a wide range of roles in churches, including serving as a deacon, an elder, in addition to serving on the Pastoral staff at Ventura Missionary Church. The Hanlines have been actively supporting missions over their 44 years of marriage, with a heart for Bible translation
