Ministry History
Global Teams began in 1983 and has grown to over forty missionaries. Our efforts in
the USA include recruiting and training missionaries, providing solid administrative and
member care support for our missionary members, and launching new efforts to reach out to
the unreached within the USA: Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and others.
Field Goals
- Recruit more missionaries: families, couples, singles, empty nesters, second career, and
"emerging culture".
- Provide our basic HORIZONS training twice per
year.
- Launch our advanced missionary training, CATALYST,
in 2003.
- Increase the number of church mission conferences and visits.
