Latin AmericaIn keeping with Global Teams’ Vision of raising up missionaries from many nations to go to the nations, we have been actively involved in raising up missionaries from Latin America. Currently, our focus has been in Costa Rica. Global Teams has two long term Costa Rican missionaries serving in a Muslim country in Asia. In the fall of 2002 four Costa Ricans were sent to a Muslim country through Global Teams to explore long term service there and are now in the discernment process. Global Teams has conducted training and recruitment efforts in Costa Rica and is partnering with several leaders to build a “bridge” for Costa Ricans to the Muslim world in particular. |
